Studio Production
The Digital Learning Media Studio includes a 1,200-square-foot production studio with cinema-quality lighting and a professional cyclorama. Our video team can offer support on every step of video production from storyboarding to final production.
This example is a role-play segment produced in our studio as part of a College of Social Work simulation project. The purpose of this portion was to serve as an example of how a social worker may handle a client who is combative or escalated.
360° Video Capture
The Digital Learning Media Studio uses a professional-grade 8K camera to create images that students can navigate using any device. We handle all image processing, so there is no tech you need to learn.
Additionally, our Multimedia Designers can use these images and videos for immersive, interactive experiences for your courses, including adding hotspots for a deeper dive into content. These assets can be seamlessly added to Canvas course shells.
Some examples of interactions that may be created could include labs, virtual tours, and simulations.
Explore Our Virtual Preschool
This example from the Department of Child and Family Studies allows students to tour a head start facility recently constructed in an affordable housing development area in the Knoxville area.
This 360° experience allows students to explore the environmental design decisions made for the space. As part of the learning objectives in this interaction, students can then create their own versions of a similar environment based off this real-world example.
3D Object Scanning
Using state-of-the-art blue light laser scanning technology, the Online Learning Media Studio can create digital versions of physical objects used in your courses. Our 3D scanner has 0.05 mm scan accuracy and scans up to 1,200,0000 points per second. This tool is also portable, which means we can come to you for objects that are too delicate or large to bring to our facility.
Motion Design
Let the animators at the Online Learning Media Studio help you explain complex concepts through storytelling and motion graphics. Our team will collaborate with you on the objective you’re working to communicate, develop storyboards to give you an idea of our vision, and create a final product that will be easy to understand by your students.
Lightboard
The Revolution Lightboard Studio allows you to visually present your course content similarly to a traditional classroom whiteboard lesson. Our 82″ studio board includes an integrated PC that can incorporate graphics, notes, and formulas that you can annotate in your recordings. Our staff can assist you on setting up your recordings and posting them to your course.
